Terry Boyd as Bruno from Nourish the Beast

Terry on choosing Bruno from "Nourish the Beast" -

I'm draw to this piece because Bruno is seducing someone but can't stop telling a story about futility. The relation between intent and delivery never gets old to me.
Terry Boyd began acting as a kid, playing Olaf in Ibsen’s The Pillars of Society, a Play in Progress production at American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco. Terry was in As If’s first production, The Clean House. Locally he’s acted for 35 years and has been seen at Sound Theatre, EsO Teatro, Second Story, Theater Schmeater, Driftwood Players and others. He was also seen in a series of online commercials for eTextbooks.

Rachel Marrs as Woman 1 from I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change and as Jerusha Abbott from Daddy Long Legs

RACHEL MARRS – “I am a musical theater actress in Richmond, VA, where the theaters are all currently shut down just like everywhere. I love performing in the town where and I live, and was meant to be playing Woman 2 in I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change, which has now been postponed. I’m luckily that I still have a job and source of income but I miss performing. I recorded this video in my basement and posted in Richmond’s quarantine theater group, where I was given the link to post here. I absolutely adore the role of Jerusha Abbott in Daddy Long Legs, and even though I have played the role before my dream would be to keep performing it as much as possible. It means so much to me and it so special. I’m excited to share this with a new audience!” Find out more about Rachel the on her website, rachelmarrs.com or click on her Insta page below!

Dorothy Rosenthal Pierce as Mama Morton from Chicago

Dorothy on choosing her piece -

I decided to sing this fabulous song from “Chicago” since I was slightly under warmed-up and would LOVE the chance to play Mama… Also, it contains many of the sauciest lyrics known to womankind… and, I definitely deserve a LOT of tat for what I’ve got to give. There is something revelatory and freeing about putting a camera in front of your face and just singing to it – you have to forgive your foibles and love yourself – wrinkles, warts and all. ❤
Dorothy did her first show at the University of California, Davis when she was 5 years old. In the intervening years she has performed up and down the west coast, Oklahoma, Idaho, NYC and even Japan, including 18 months doing vaudeville and melodrama at the Pollardville Palace Showboat Theatre where she honed her ability to be ridiculous. She settled in Seattle and has been performing there for almost 30 years. She is a proud member of the cabaret troupe The Broads of Broadway and has been doing interactive improv with Events on the Edge for the 14 years. Dorothy has been seen at The Village Theatre, Civic Light Opera and many theaters in the Puget Sound. She has been a teaching artist for the past 17 years and now happily teaches the drama and musical theatre program at Edmonds Heights K-12. Some of her favorite roles have been Dolly Levi in Hello, Dolly! at Leavenworth Summer Theater this year, Annie in Annie Get Your Gun, Mrs. Paroo in The Music Man, and the Witch in Into the Woods.
