A bit about AITC

In the long-standing debate, “Does art imitate life or does life imitate art?” As If Theatre Company consciously chooses the latter. We want our art to instill within you hope and laughter, conflict and resolution, empathy and awareness, and a deeper understanding of yourself and others.

We are committed to bringing engaging, challenging, and entertaining theater to the community just north of Seattle. Our company believes that theater is community and together we can tell stories that inspire thought, engage conversations, and join all of us together to tell a bigger story. Passionate and dedicated, As If Theater Company’s ultimate goal is to change our small piece of the world for the better.

Performing at the historic Kenmore Community Club, As If Theatre Company was started by local theater artists, Cindy Giese French, Amy Gentry, and Molly Hall, who wanted to create an artistic home in the Northend. As a burgeoning city without a theater group, Kenmore was the ideal location to call home.
